Introdution to Chapter 10-11

Chapter 10-11 is about the Victorian age, and how countries are now starting to adopt the idea of democracy. People are trying to gain suffrage rights so they can have a voice in their government. Inventions that were created during the Industrial Revolution were modernizied, like now people used electricity instead of gas lighting. Lastly people started to come up with new innovations like pasteurization, the Theory of Evolution, and, Psychology.Chapter 11  is about European Imperialism in Africa and different types of Imperialism the Europeans used. A country in Africa could be a Protectorate, colony, sphere of influence, or a Economic Imperialism. With this blog I hope to learn more about Imperalism and the Victorian Age.
