Thomas Edison

The Electric pen was invented by Edison and his staff in 1875. Used an electric motor to drive the small needle up and down the shaft of the pen. When the user wrote it created a stencil, then this stencil was placed in the press. Where a roller used squeegee ink through the holes of the stencil, which created a copy of the document.
